A Day in the Life of Saige

It's almost time to wake up.

A pillow fight wake-up call!

Saige is ready to start her day.

This is Picasso.  He's a very nice horse and he loves carrots.

This is my sister Lanie.  She is the best little sister ever!
"Hi, Lanie!"

Now I'm riding on Picasso.  "Giddy Up, boy!"

Mostly I'm a Tricksy Nixie.  Sometimes I feel super brave and I stand up on Picasso.  I've had a lot of practice, so don't even think about trying this at home!

Lunch time with my sisters
(Cameron, Mia, Felicity, Elizabeth, McKenna, me, Kanani, Lanie, Kit, Samantha, Millie and Lily)

Mmmmm...doesn't that food look delicious?

Time to get a little painting in.  This is my latest picture of Picasso.

Relaxing before bedtime watching "The Imagination Station".  The story was about Moses and the Israelites crossing the Red Sea.

Now Mom is tucking me into bed.  It's super fun to be me! "Good night, everyone!"

Lanie's Big Disaster

Hey, it's Kanani.  I want to tell you what happened this week to my sister, Lanie.

We moved to a new state on Monday.  It's awesome here.  Here is Elizabeth and I moving her bed.  We all have our own space now.  I can read all night long if I want...without my Mom knowing.

Lanie was having a lot of fun riding Kit's scooter, but then disaster arrived.  Lanie was so mesmerized by the scooter she wasn't paying attention to where she was going.  She started wobbling and then CRASH!  They both fell down.

Don't be terrified, but when Lanie fell down she injured her leg.  We weren't sure if it was broken or a minor sprain.

After a trip to the doctor, we knew it was broken.

Lanie was very upset about her crash.  She didn't know what to do.  She was very sad.

Mom tried to help Lanie feel better by singing her favorite lullabye.  She sings us a special song every night:  "Gentle breeze blowing.  Bright moonlight shining.  Little meadows swaying softly.  While my sweetheart is in her bed.  She is my little sweetheart."

Lanie felt better after that and she knew it wasn't going to be that bad.  At least she wouldn't have to do the wheelbarrow race at the family picnic.

One good thing is she will be treated like royalty while she's healing.
~ Goodbye from Lanie, Kanani and Elizabeth ~

Gymnastics Class

This has been the most wonderful day!  Today was the day that we were starting our gymnastics class.  We took classes before (when we were 3), but now we were starting back.  We love our teachers and all the equipment we get to work on.

Our gymnastics place is the best one you'll ever see.  Look at the size of it!  It's huge!  It is our favorite.

This is Carissa.  She is our cousin.  She is also our gymnastics coach.  She used to be an Olympic gymnast, but she broke her wrist.

This is Chelsea.  She's one of our BFFs.  She is great on the beam and you should see her dismount!

This is Katie and Skipper.  They both say, "Hi!"  Katie is still learning how to not be afraid on the trampoline.  She likes it, though.

Katie loves doing the vault.  Doesn't that look fun?  She does awesome flips and more.

"Hey, it's me, Skipper.  See me bouncing on the trampoline?  Catch you next time!"

This is Kassidy.  She is being taught to do a handstand on the bar by Carissa.

Look at Chelsea!  She's amazing on the vault.  Her handstand is breathtaking.

This is Kassidy on the beam.  Look at that handstand and split.  You go, girl!

Katie is trying out the bar for the first time.

Carissa is keeping a close eye on her.

Carissa and Skipper's coffee.  Mmm, doesn't that look yum?  They enjoy it after our class.

Thanks for coming to class with us!
Love,
Carissa, Skipper, Chelsea, Katie and Kassidy

All gymnastics equipment was made by Julianna (with some assistance from Dad on the trampoline.)  The trampoline was inspired by this tutorial by My Froggy Stuff.  (A great resource for all kinds of doll tutorials!)  Oh, coffee cups made by Mom (also inspired by My Froggy. She'll be perfecting them and making the coffee dispenser!)

Saige's visit to the Amazon Jungle

I was so, so excited to go to the Amazon Jungle.  It was so fun just getting there and seeing the baby koala.

I was a little freaked out when I saw the baby tiger.  He was so cute, though and he was sitting on a coconut!  How can you resist that?

When I saw the monkeys, I just had to get close to them and give them a banana to eat.  They were too cute!

You should have seen the zebra!  I got to sit next to it.  It was friendly.

I had a blast visiting the Amazon and seeing all the baby animals.  See you on my next adventure!
